Local Infrastructure Competitive Grant Program.
$118.5 million in revenue bonds to the I-JOBS Board to distribute, in the form of grants, for disaster rebuilding, reconstruction of local public buildings (FEMA PLUS), flood control, and flood prevention projects. Applicants can receive up to 75% for replacing or rebuilding existing disaster-related damaged property, and up to 50% for all other projects.  An applicant cannot receive more than $50 million from this grant program.
 
Targeted Disaster Rebuilding. $46.5 million in revenue bonds for disaster relief and mitigation and local infrastructure grants to Linn County; Cedar Rapids; and the Palo, Elkader, and Charles City fire stations. The IJOBS Board will distribute the money. Plans from the local governing agency are due to the board by September 1, 2009; otherwise the money reverts to Local Infrastructure Competitive Grant Program.
